Did you know that reed diffusers are surprisingly simple to make? In fact, the liquid in our reed diffusers is comprised of just two ingredients:

• Our unique fragrance
• The base oil (the majority)

However, about a year ago, our suppliers informed us about a change in regulations. The base oil we had been using for years would now require animal testing to meet these new standards.

Animal Testing?

We were faced with a choice: overlook this change and continue our orders, or find a different base oil that's cruelty-free.

We believe in creating products that are not only effective and aesthetically pleasing in your homes but also reusable, refillable, and ethical. Animal testing does not align with our ethics—and we're betting it doesn't align with yours either.

With considerable effort, we found an alternative, and we’ve been using it ever since.
