About a year ago, our suppliers informed us about a change in regulations. The base oil we had been using for years would now require animal testing to meet the new standards.

We were faced with a choice: overlook this change and continue our orders, or find a different base oil that's cruelty-free.

We believe in creating products that are not only effective and beautiful in your home, but also reusable, refillable, and ethical. Animal testing does not align with our values, and we're betting it doesn't align with yours either.

With considerable effort, we found an alternative, and we've been using it ever since.
