I love this smell! I have put it in my “reading room” and will use the ceramic pot when finished. I have just preserved the diffuser too.
I love my candle The Library. I had wanted the festive candle but it had sold out so decided to give this a try. It’s my first experience of Chase and Wonder’s candles but will not be the last. The quality is top notch and scent throws around my whole room. It’s bivouac high grade essential oils have been used as the scent lasts throughout the whole burn. I’m delighted with my purchase, and next year I’m going to get in early for the Christmas goodies!!!
Beautiful quality gift and in a lovely presentation box. The ceramic container can also be used as a pen pit once the candle has been used.
I’ve received my Library candle and matches this weekend and am so pleased with the fragrance and the beautiful holder. Exquisitely packaged too. Many thanks - will be back for more.
Having finally plumped for the gorgeous library design from the wide range of choice of china candles, I was thrilled when it promptly arrived, gorgeously packaged and looking every bit as good as I hoped it might. The fragrance is lovely and not overpowering and the stylish container will be used for evermore once the candle's gone. This could be the start of a collection I feel.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. We appreciate you taking the time to write it, and moreover are pleased you enjoyed the candle. Thank you again, David & Faye x
It's a burning (sorry) issue among candle makers - Paraffin (otherwise known as mineral Wax) or Soy.
We use soy, and this is why:-
Soy Wax is Natural, derived from 100% renewable soybeans while paraffin is a crude-oil by-product
Soy Wax is 100% biodegradable while paraffin wax is not
Soy Wax candles burn cooler and slower than paraffin candles, which means they typically last 30-50% longer than a paraffin candle
Soy Wax releases fragrance easier than paraffin candles to give a richer fragrance throw and 'Pot Pourri' effect when not lit
Soy Wax is cleaner burning with no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants which means it's less likely to trigger allergies
