Every Chase and Wonder reed diffuser is filled with fragrances we have spent months perfecting, housed in hand-decorated fine china made in Stoke-on-Trent with 22ct gold detailing. Every vessel is refillable. When the oil runs out, you keep the ceramic, order a refill, add fresh reeds, and carry on.
We include 7 black fibre reeds with each diffuser. Flip them every few days to refresh the scent. Most of our diffusers last 4-6 months depending on the room.

How long does a Chase and Wonder reed diffuser last?
Our ceramic reed diffusers last approximately 4-6 months depending on the room size, temperature, and how many reeds you use. You can control the intensity by adding or removing reeds.
Are your reed diffusers refillable?
Yes. Just like our candles, the ceramic diffuser vessels are designed to be kept and refilled. Order a diffuser refill, pour it in, and add fresh reeds. The vessel lasts a lifetime.
How many reeds should I use?
We include 7 reeds with each diffuser. We advise you them all. Flip the reeds every few days to refresh the scent.
Where should I place my reed diffuser?
Hallways, bathrooms, and living rooms work particularly well. Place the diffuser somewhere with gentle air movement, near a doorway or on a console table, but away from direct sunlight and heat sources, which can cause the oil to evaporate faster.
Do I need new reeds when I refill?
Yes, we'd always recommend using fresh reeds with a new refill. Over time, the reeds become saturated and less effective at drawing up fragrance. We sell spare reed packs separately.
Can I switch to a different fragrance when I refill?
Absolutely. Simply clean the vessel with warm soapy water, let it dry, pour in the new refill, and use fresh reeds. There's no need to stick with the same scent.
What are the diffuser vessels made from?
The same hand-decorated fine china as our candles, made in Stoke-on-Trent with 22ct gold detailing. Each one features an original Chase and Wonder illustration.
Are your diffuser fragrances the same as your candle fragrances?
Yes, each fragrance is available across both candles and diffusers, so you can match scents between rooms or layer the same fragrance for a stronger effect.
Do your reed diffusers come gift boxed?
Our ceramic candles burn for up to 90 hours, significantly longer than most comparable luxury candles.
Can I send a diffuser directly to the recipient?
Yes. Simply enter the recipient's address at checkout. We never include pricing information in the package, so it arrives as a clean, beautifully presented gift.
