This is the third year of our advent calendar, and the most generous edition we’ve made. Every one of the 200 is wrapped and numbered by hand in our Cheshire studio, by us, and the wrapping takes longer than we’d sensibly admit to.
Inside, the very best of British home fragrance: a full-size ceramic candle in hand-decorated fine bone china finished with 22ct gold, six glass candles, two room fragrances, two travel tins and a jar of luxury matches. Twelve gifts chosen to carry a home through Christmas, from festive spice and fireside warmth to the crisp air of a starlit winter night. Eleven fragrances from across our collection, chosen to carry a home from the first of December to Christmas Eve, and a jar of matches to light them. Which number holds which stays a secret.
- The Starry Night Orange, cinnamon and pine needles over rich wood and tonka. The Christmas scent.
- Home For Christmas Pine and berries, clove and amber. The tree, the fire and the family arriving.
- The Alpine Lodge Fir, cinnamon and clove with the mountain air still in it. A ski lodge for an English December.
- The Land of Nod Lavender, chamomile and vanilla. For the quiet nights in between, and our best seller for a reason.
- The Tuscan Sunset Bergamot, lemon and jasmine. A sunlit terrace for the afternoon the light goes at four.
- The Autumn Rose Raspberry, rose and cedarwood. Rich and a little moody, made for the turn of the season.

When will it arrive?
Calendars are dispatched from Monday 21st September, tracked, in the order they were bought, so yours will be with you long before the first of December.
Can I find out which fragrances are inside?
Yes. All eleven are listed above, with what each one is for. Which number holds which stays a secret until it’s unwrapped in December.
Is it ready to give as a gift?
Completely. Everything arrives in the new keepsake box, each gift already wrapped and numbered by hand, so there is nothing left for you to do except hand it over, or keep it.
Is the ceramic candle refillable?
Yes. Once it’s burned, a refill drops straight in, so the fine bone china stays on the shelf for good.
