Refund policy

That's Shopify's stock template, written for a clothing shop, and it's worse for you than the five-day one. Don't patch it. The problems:

  • Flammable liquids: it refuses returns on "hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases", which rules out your reed diffusers and room fragrances.
  • Sale items: it refuses returns on sale items. UK online shoppers keep their 14-day right on sale purchases, so that line can't stand, and you're about to run birthday and Black Friday offers.
  • Return address: the sentence ends "sent to the following address:" and nothing follows.
  • Clothing wording: "unworn", "with tags", perishable food and beauty products have nothing to do with you.
  • Exchanges: it tells people to buy again separately, while your product pages promise "full refund or exchange".

You now have two contradictory refund policies somewhere on the site. Use this one text in both places:

Returns and refunds

The most important thing is that you are happy with your purchase. If you're not, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund or an exchange.

How to return an order

  • Email info@chaseandwonder.com with your order number before sending anything back, and let us know whether you'd like a refund or an exchange.
  • Send the item back to us unused and in its original packaging: Chase and Wonder Ltd, Unit 5-6 Rose Farm, Utkinton, Tarporley, Cheshire, CW6 0LP.
  • Return postage is at your own cost. We recommend a tracked service, as we can't refund parcels that don't reach us.

Refunds

Once your return arrives, we'll refund the price of the item to your original payment method within 14 days. If you let us know within 14 days of delivery that you'd like to return your whole order, we'll refund the standard delivery charge as well.

Damaged or faulty items

If anything arrives damaged or isn't right, email info@chaseandwonder.com with a photo and we'll replace it or refund you in full, at no cost to you.

International orders

International orders can be returned on the same terms. Return shipping is at your own cost.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
